adding messages & sound

first thing's first, lets make a link/text to add sound to. ps, this is SUPER easy.

"hello, world."

second thing's second, select your link/text for sound and open the BEHAVIORS panel.

third thing's third, clicks the little + button to make a new Behavior. scroll down to Deprecated and click Play Sound.

assuming you already have your sound picked out, just browse for your mp3 or wav. i chose a simple soundbite from the film Adaptation.

good. now, fourth thing's fourth, let's add a message. given the humor of our previously made link ("hello world."), we'll make a message for Dave. cute, i know... so, just as before, highlight our link/text and click that sweet little + button and scroll down to Popup Message.

type your message and click OK.

you are now done. save your work and preview your little slice of humor. ps, keep in mind that if you have a Popup Message AND sound, they'll work in the order you assigned the Behaviors. for example, i did the sound FIRST, and the message SECOND. have fun with it.
